Professional Oral Hygiene | GBT Technology
Personalized, effective and minimally invasive oral hygiene
At Clínica Raiz we use the GBT - Guided Biofilm Therapy protocol, a modern approach that allows us to carry out dental hygiene in a more effective, gentle and scientifically validated way.
Unlike conventional methods, which do not allow visual identification of bacterial biofilm, the GBT protocol is based on clinical evidence and uses technology such as Airflow®, with erythritol particles and heated water, for greater comfort and superior results.
This treatment is recommended not only for maintaining oral hygiene, but also as preparation for aesthetic treatments such as veneers, whitening or implants.

- Greater comfort: less noise, less vibration

Dental cleaning with the latest technology
How we perform oral hygiene with the GBT protocol
1. Initial assessment and use of developer dye
We start with a special dye that identifies the biofilm (bacterial plaque) on each tooth, allowing for a personalized approach.
2. AirFlow® jet removal
We use AirFlow® with erythritol particles and water heated to 37ºC to gently remove biofilm and stains without wearing away the enamel.
3. Complementary removal with Piezon® ultrasound
We remove residual tartar in areas of greatest accumulation with high-precision piezoelectric instruments and controlled vibration.
